The story
Eleven pages in two languages, rendered by a small Node server where every string is written once in both languages. The home page tells one working day across gates, front desks, approvals, an AI assistant and books that balance, every screen taken from systems we built.
Hard parts cleared
- Hand-written live demos with no libraries: an AI assistant whose guard refuses a salary question, a live leaderboard and a double-entry journal, each pausing off-screen.
- A service worker keeps visited pages readable when the network or the server drops.
- A release gate that loads every page at three widths and fails on a missing image, overflow, a console error or a missing font.
